I think your Sperry car is a ok. The yellow is a tad . . . Dark for me but otherwise it's good. There are so many Sperry cars the lack of other shells for kit bashing is't noticeable. You could redo the yellow in Testors gloss yellow to get closer.

Keep us posted on the wiring problem - I'm building a crossover that may face the same issue you uncovered.

Frank as for your helix woos you may want to seriously consider kato superevelated unitrack you can install it in 10 mins(as fast as you can snap it in and spin it down) and it works like a charm

I did it in one of my helixes and will do it in the next the cost for me was $200 in track but gives you trouble free solder free track

yes it looks a little different but for how trouble free it is I would consider it if I where you,

or you could go with the normal curved stuff to get the right radius so you dont have to rebuild your helix
