LOVE those GS's !

Here's my latest, just finished painting and decaling my NJ brass "Buick Front" T-1.
My NJ brass DE skirted T-1 I had already painted about a year ago.
Thanks to Jason (superturbine), he sent me the Ebay link to the "Buick Front" auction which he knew I was looking for, also I about broke my finger hitting the "Buy It Now" button !

Fabulous.

Dunno how many are familiar with the book "Set Up Running"; if so, you'll recall the author's dad considered the L1 Pennsy's over-all best engine. For those who are not, make every effort to find and read it; I think it's the finest railroad narrative ever written...

Mark, thanks.  FWIW, the last time I checked the RLW website, it appeared that they still had enough individual parts to build the PRR L1 boiler.  For those of you who have a few spare hours.  And no, I'm not planning on building another (unless this one falls off the layout, again).

Ernie, a little Dullcote would go a long way on those T-1 boilers.

My Mom and Wife have out done themselves this Christmas

Bachmann 4-8-2  that will be re-lettered to represent 1920 style lettering on an R1

Kato 2-8-2 that will be re-lettered as well to be a J1 instead of a J2

The rest of the fleet starts to get it's 1920 correct lettering.

Top is a K-1-B 2-6-0
Middle is a G-3 4-6-0
Bottom is an I-2 4-6-2

At least in my mind....

This is not mine, but I thought it would fit here. Scratchbuilt in 1977 by the Model Railway Club's President Tim Watson. 2mm Finescale, so 1:152 with a track gauge of 9.42mm. I should have taken a picture of the underside, the working cranks are impressive.
