Nice! Tell me more about those pulpwood loads, they are very convincing!

Some dried out weeds that grow near my place. Not sure of the exact species. I'll try to find out for you. I thought I stacked them a bit too high on the first gon, then I saw some stacked in gons at a plant near Biron WI. Nope, not necessarily too high at all, especially for intraplant transport. I was shocked that a couple gons didn't just sag in the middle from the weight!

How about a Neenah to Stevens Point turn waiting for an eastbound at Nelsons, say 'round September 1998 maybe?

Sorry. Photo is single stacked.

Ah yes, where the mainline parallels HWY 10.  I drove that route many times visiting my wife when she was going to school at Point years ago.  You've captured the area nicely!

Thanks Scott. I dunno, I wish that I was able to capture more of the large fields north of Nelsons. But I was forced to slap my depiction up against the wall.

This area of west Waupaca needs a lot of work. Note the scant remains of the Green Bay & Waupaca disappearing in the grass. No, not the Green Bay & Western. This was a predecessor road. Used now as a switching lead for one of the two Waupaca Foundry plants, it appears to have once served a fuel dealer? In any case, our best guess is that the above was the origin of these tracks. Mind you, the mainline behind is on a raised fill in this part of town. I had to make the mainline decend here as it leads to the lower level.

Finally got my picture of the lakefront in the Neenah area that I wanted upon visiting the area this spring. Trying it out for size. (Sorry, this shot is so blurry.)

The only real problem is that the real river is much more a creek, or a dribble, into the real lake. Ah well. I rekon it'll look fine and that many will not know or even care. Now to blend the photo into the 3-D scenery and finally complete this scene.

It was interesting to see so many changes to the area since the early 2000s.

Jus thinking here....Is there a possibility to build up the shoreline edges then scenic that? If done right this idea could get away from that deeper river look.

Way ahead of ya pardner. Also copious amounts of trees could be quite helpful. And for that matter, just cover over the stream bed area and re-do or reshape the entire scene overall. We shall see...

Dale. June 2021. Glad to see things have not changed that much from WC days.

Had to shoot the other way as the sun was setting. This is the eastern end of Anton siding, as extended by CN, practically into town.
