If DKS can deliver on even half of these features this is going to be amazeballs!   :o

Is it 2014 yet?

How about now?  :scared:

The uncoupling feature is what I am interested in. This could be a good thing.

I hope it is smaller then the current N scale couplers, and for non-cushioned under frame cars has a much shorter shank.

I've certainly been waiting for this announcement!  (One of the reasons my Full Throttle tests have been languishing, in fact.)  But 2014?  I hope I can wait that long.   :|

Great news though!

Sounds good in theory, but getting the automatic coupling/uncoupling to work reliably under average conditions has always been the issue.  I hope he can make it work.  My perception is that to date only MT has come close to achieving this.  I prefer to avoid the 1-1 scale giant arms hovering over the scenery, which kill the illusion for me, much more so than the occasional unprototypical back-and-forth movements required by automatic uncoupling.

Funny, its shape is somewhat reminiscent of the loved-or-hated Accumates....  If it really delivers what it promises, this might be a big step forward for N scale. If not - oh well, just another MT clone...
