Belt Railway of Chicago N-scale-Looking for a plan...

Hi guys and gals,

A long long time ago, say late 80's or early 90's, I remember reading an article in one of the magazines about the Belt Railway of Chicago. I vaguely remember an N-scale track plan to fit on a 4'x8'.

I don't remember if it was Model Railroader, MRC or some other magazine, but I just cannot for the life of me seem to find any reference to it anywhere...

Anyone out there have any leads? Much obliged!

I've just tried searching the Model Railroader 75-year set, and no luck there. It was probably a different magazine.

I recall seeing it as well, but it might have been in one of the track plan books.

The article I remember was the HO BNSF Chillicothe sub layout MR Feb 2002. It also featured BRC, the focus being on a "live" LeMoyne/Nerska junction. Will be interested to see what you have in mind for modeling BRC in N.

I remember that Chillicothe sub article, but it's not the one I'm looking for... the article I'm trying to find came out when I was but a young teenager, possibly still in junior high or early high school, so late 80's-early 90's...

I very distinctly remember it featuring a 4'x8'-ish size layout...
