Which does not appear to me to be in use yet.
From Internet hearsay, I'm gathering that the new track is supposed to be connected at Marcel in about 2-3 weeks, and then go into service after that.Don't the railroads usually put a new track in some sort of limited/restricted service initially, for some period of time?Ed
Great. It looks like the track was ballasted about a week ago.
Always subject to change, but looks like the next Tehachapi cutover will be in about 2 weeks (week of Aug 22).
