Finally got back to working on this.

Atlas rebuilt box with IM Murphy panel roof and MTL wood running board.  Also ditched the stock K Brake.  Messed up a bunch of things but I think I learned enough to not have them happen again.  Will probably do some more with the underside and trucks when I get some metal wheels that fit.

I took pics of the whole process except the weathering, so I'll probably write something up.

Great looking car Jason! Love it. Where did you get the decals?

Best wishes, Dave
If you lend someone $20, and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

In-progress shot of a PRR class P70 coach under construction. Base model is the Lima heavyweight.  American Limited 2D-P5 trucks and diaphragms, end windows blanked out, and airbrush painted with Micro Trains' formulation for PRR Tuscan Red. The gloss will be knocked down after being Dullcoted once lettering and striping are applied.

Hi Dave,
Have tried Firefox and Thunderbird but could not get you photos to play.

Thanks Dave, me only regret is going too heavy on the fade.  :x  Can't really see it in person (plus one side isn't that bad) so I'll live.

I drew the decal back when Atlas first announced the rebuilts I think.  Thankfully my Alps still works even if there are a few scratches showing up.

Crap. how did I cut off the "& S".  F Me.

Working fine here.

If it's O'Leary... Most likely he's just as cocked as those two...

Another of my attempts at phone photography at eye level.
The sign on the depot was produced by using the pressure-sensitive mailing address label
stock and experimenting with font type and size.
This opens an avenue for easy, custom signs for the layout.
Instead of making decals, the signs can be created on the computer, printed and then cut to size for the application.  I plan to experiment with clear, matt label stock for other signs.  :)

How about a little night cap?

Whatever band is playing in there, has one hell of a lightshow!

I've got a blue LED in the right hand apartment to simulate a TV running... it looks better in person!

Very, very nice !!!!!!!!!! Really well executed !
Model railroading isn't saving my life, but it's providing me moments of joy not normally associated with my current situation..... Train are good!

Signs created with computer on clear address label stock.
Cut to fit.  Using a colored highlight and light colored font yields nice signs, too.

Wow, Keyser Valley cab?  Sweet!  Exactly what I need for the tail end of DL&W freights detouring on my layout.
