Hopefully, once the scene is complete and the signal is not such the center of attention as it is in the picture above, the crooked lights won't be so noticeable.  But, if it gets to the point that it really bothers me, adding a signal maintenance crew is a great idea.

Obscure the signal by bushes and trees --- that will hide the flaws .. then make sure you have a Mercedes on the other side, with a well dressed person and a camera, waiting for a train to hit a car at the crossing ;)

I see bent/crooked signals all the time.  They get hit by passing vehicles etc.  Could use that as an opportunity for a scene, have a signal maintainer stopped there trying to fix it.
