Better images of new NZT details

In the process of drafting a blog post for the NZT Company Blog, I snapped a few new images of the ground throws and relay boxes. I took them with my pocket point-and-shoot, and surprisingly they're vastly superior to those I'd taken with a Canon 5D and macro lens. They really capture all of the fine details on what are otherwise little black or grey blobs.

Also, after having assembled about a dozen ground throws so far, I've come to realize that an instruction video will likely be of immense help to modelers struggling to handle some of the tiniest parts they've ever seen. I hope to have the video complete in time for the arrival of the first products to customers.

I think you can see the backsavers on Jim's Oakville sub shots on Atlas...

Actually the ones in Jim's photos are NJ International.  They look very nice, but I suspect David's will be nicer still.

Do these actually operate the turnout and power the frog?
Seems like I read that was in the plans.

Dave, Ask Joe from MTL for some pointers on making a video that will get everyone talking.

Since Chuck now carries these, I've got a batch on order along with a few other NZT products.

I honestly would not have thought that something would replace my interest in Ramapo switch stands but your early switch stands just might do it.  The more modern ones are too modern for me but that early stand is really nice!!!

Thanks, David.

In making tiny parts and taking photos of them, you begin to realize just how big your fingerprints are!

David,

The smaller sensor in your point and shoot makes for greater depth of field.  It's one of the advantages of a smaller sensor (one of the few!).

By the way, great work!  As always, I am impressed with your attention to detail.  Although these won't work for my 1951 UP, I hope your enterprise generates both success and a higher common standard among manufacturers.
