My God you people actually buy petrol with a sub 90 Octane rating?

You should all be arrested for cruelty to motor vehicles.

The prices are the average price in the US for July    1996.

The printer is a HP CP1025nw. I picked it up at staples for $160 after instant and mail in rebates. It prints at 600dpi..plenty for n scale.

We have it available, but not everyone buys it.

I presume your context is European octane? They (you?) use the numerically-higher "research" octane standard, the US uses "R+M/2", or the average of "research" and "motor" octane computations. So Euro octane is labeled 3 points higher for the exact same petrol forumulation.

87 octane R+M/2 is the default US "regular", with adjustments for altitude in mountainous states. Motoring about Colorado, pull up to a pump labeled "85" in the family flivver if you want to talk about octane-rating shock... but it's the same to the engine as 88 (your 91) at sea level.

Ian, can you please provide some details on the Concord show in September? That just might work into my schedule nicely.

Dave here it is:
http://www.trainweb.org/cmrc/

Its an OK show. Its in an ice arena and there are about 3-4 layouts. Mostly dealers.

If you can work your schedule around Nov. The Bedford Boomers show in Bedford is NH's largest show. Its a layout show only, no dealers, and has about 15-20 layouts.

They might have bumped it back. They have had it in Sept the last few years. Last year was Sept 11. I had not the chance to look at the site for the 2012 date. Cest la vie
