Everything about that is smokin' hawt except for one thing... I don't quite buy the Japanesey-looking truss bridge. I wonder if a Walthers double-track truss with plenty of rust would look more Conrail in New England.
That's more like it! Crappy photos are perfectly fine for documentation! I also see this is the "other" layout... the one that got put on hold? How many layouts have you got under construction now?
I don't know if I've seen this plan Ian. Where does it reside?
Ian,Looks like you are making some good progress. What happened to the L-shaped plan? Do you have two versions, one for home and one for the road? Both are nice plans.Best wishes, Dave
The L shaped plan has been shelved for the moment (ba dum tis )Both were designed for the road. But comparing the two, there is much more interest in this one at the shows cause of the roundy round
...You want to bring in new blood into the hobby...
Sad fact about that is, most people don't care about how we take N scale to the next level. They just want to see trains run, and don't much car about the advanced scenery techniques, the highly detailed locomotives and rolling stock, etc. I'd say about 10% of the crowds we deal with when showing MiNi "get it." The rest fo them complain about how tall it is.
