VIA bi level cars...excuse me Gracie............? CP Rail had bi-level cars for Montreal commuter use but as far as I know they never wore VIA colours and were not like the Kato cars............I stand to be corrected....
No swoosh GG1's this round? WHY OH WHY DOES KATO ALWAYS FORGET THE WEST COAST!!!!!!!!!
dave, watch Kato parts closely for the BL cars....wait a minute.... I think they did that already.never mind.v
Hey, quick question...I was messing around with my Kato Broadway Limited BM70M baggage car, and I remembered Bryan Busséy as having mentioned Kato not making enough on the Broadway tooling. Yet, they apparently have flatly refused to release the BM70M separately.A big part of Pennsy's parade of trains from the 30s to the 50s were mail trains, in which as many as a half dozen, sometimes more, BM70Ms and similar RPOs ran with express boxcars, RB50 express reefers, and B60b express cars made up a passenger-free consist,If Kato offered the BM70M separately, I'd be in for at least 2 more. Hell Gate Models offers a BM70k resin kit, which would be a nice complement to a few Kato BM70Ms.Just sayin'. I think a large number of Pennsy modelers would like to help them recoup at least the baggage portion of the Broadway.
