Hi Guys,

Our December announcements are now up. This is the first group of our new cabooses. We starting off with 2 of the five body styles. The other 3 will follow in stages after the first of the year.

Very cool Craig. I love the info you present along with the announcements. It makes it easy to make the call on whether to get stuff (in my case, not this run), but I really do enjoy it.

One thing... when are you gonna do the CR 8 Door cars with the "normal" logo that they wore for most of their careers?

We have a Conrail double door already on the schedule so we likely won't announce a quad door one until after they have been relelased.

Cool :o Always look forward to you releases, I can't wait till the GTW and Chessie 8 doors are released, one thing though I'd like to suggest is to darken the Chessie blue a little I purchased the last release and they seemed too light I was wondering why because the B&O and C&O cars were the correct shade of blue.

Sounds good to me, more time so save up the sheckles... I just wanted to make sure they were on your radar. For those of us who model "GM Towns", the 8s are key, and just remember, the non-quality cars have a much longer appropriate time period than the Q logo cars.

Ooh, I'll be all over the L&N and/or CRR transfer cabooses in the Family Lines scheme, when available.  I would want to repatch these to Seaboard System (SBD), but that shouldn't be hard.

Awesome!  I'll eventually have to get one of the MoPac's.  They are past my era but I am going to have a handful of stock for a late 80's session and I always loved the MoPac platform cabooses.  Great stuff!

I have a big ziploc full of caboose parts (mostly old MP/Atlas bay-window cabooses, and an Atlas EV that I was gonna use as a base) that I was going to use to try to kitbash a few of these.  Since this is a secondary project for a secondary era it never got much priority on the project list, and now is obsolete in an instant, as far as I am concerned.   If you want them to try and take a shot at it, they're yours...just send me your address.

Love the MP.  I'll load it up with (the other Craig's) signal boxes for MOW work:

How about some ballast hoppers to go with?  :)

Didn't PC also have a green transfer caboose similar to the MP/UP ?
Drive carefully. It's not only cars that can be "recalled" by their maker.

Those would be the N6A ex-NYC Transfer caboose.
