Check it out, thanks to Russ and Sean's visit today, there's track on the front side of my NCR shelf layout. I now have the straightaway to do, and then the other loop, but it's definitely getting there.

Thanks for the help guys!

No problem Ed. Glad I could help. Like I said, track is my 'thing'. Im also pretty decent at wiring. Scenery is another matter, one I'll need your help with. :) see you in a couple weeks to do the other end.

Finally finished a project tonight...

The parts were cut out of .015 Styrene with my vinyl cutter. If I can figure out how to make instructions for it, this may be offered as a kit.

Tony: Congrats, that's really, really nice ! I have to investigate a vinyl cutter, One question, did they not have railings (grabs) on the ends, near the steps or are those yet to come ?

Nice build !
Model railroading isn't saving my life, but it's providing me moments of joy not normally associated with my current situation..... Train are good!

DOH!, Totally forgot them. Working late at night takes it toll again. Forgot roof and end grabs also....OK it's not done. Maybe tomorrow night.

Two Kato cabooses painted with Krylon Red Pepper aerosol in small can.
Note one on right was yellow Chessie and some yellow color shows on the raised grab iron detail. Was not planned.  The one on left was maroon and undecorated.

I attempted to spray paint the end ladder assembles for both cabooses and found the SCALECOAT II aerosol paint did not adhere.  Chalk that one up to experience.
I checked KATO USA parts and learned that end ladder assemble is sold in various colors including yellow, so I ordered them.

Please don't tease us... we might just have to put you to the test!!!

Seriously... if you make them I will pop for as many as I can.  The N&W (along with the VGN and V&O) are key connections to the north for my freelanced lines and having a chance to have this type of cab would be great in my book.  I hope that it can indeed be done!!!
