Well, got my first steam power for the layout...

Well, for reason yet unknown, I ran across a pair of Key Imports NYC H10's. Both the A and B versions. Obviously as a NYC modeler I had to get them. I did get a pretty great deal on them. Arrived today and put them on the test track. The first one ran great the second one not so much.

Took it apart and found that the motor bracket wasnt bent enough to keep the worm gear properly meshing with the idler gear. Slight adjustment and all is well. Both are very smooth runners.

Both have MT couplers already, so as soon as I start getting the track down, they will be able to start earning their keep.

(still banging my head for selling my 3 Mohawks a year and a half back)  :facepalm:

Have to wait to get a new battery for my camera. The old one isnt holding a charge.
