On the way tomorrow to Regina, Sask..... :scared:      yep; I know...."why" go to Sask. in August..... :|.....(National Kin Canada Service organization Conference....that's why)

Finished the PGE/BC Rail depot for the barge operation.....

Model railroading isn't saving my life, but it's providing me moments of joy not normally associated with my current situation..... Train are good!

I received my order with a couple of kits in it, so that will help my main street I am designing.  Still trying to tackle how I want to add an extension for a round house and staging tracks.  Do I want it to be at grade with the layout where it will attach or do I work in some sort of grade work to have the lead track go up and over the main line.

On a side note I can't log on to the Atlas Forum.  I don't know if that is a blessing or a curse.

Cool stuff, love that cabin car Doug! That's beautiful.

Also, I'm very jealous of getting to see a WRC event...

I spent all week at the beach, but DID learn how to build a route in Trainz. A fun way to model without supplies.

I"ve warned you, you could easily make the switch to virtual modeling if you aren't careful. Me, since I can't do anything in the house with a grump 2 year old and a 20 week pregnant wife that won't upset one or the other, I finalized my first-level design, most of the second, and laid out how I need to section off the rest of my basement to give me staging separated from my woodworking workshop. With any luck, the next two months could see all this come to fruition, bathroom pending,

You all know what I have been doing!  Working on the 1/4 railroad and the 1/160 railroad. Photos from the 1/4 one.  Also on the N scale side modules 1 and 2 have track down on them! Models 3 and 4 have been completed and are getting spined on Monday night. I'd post more photos but I still have to get all my camera gear back from the ex. So the Xoom will have to do with taking photos for now...not bad for web, but print blows.  Also the layout has been confirmed that it will be at the Concord, NH show on Sept 11 if anyone in the area wants to come see it. Also will be the first Northern New England show that CRHS shilling will be done at.

Running one of the ballast cars up the Mountain Line to drop stone.

Rebuilt switch to the sap house siding.

I WANNA SEE THE BOAT MOVIE!

Yes... I'm in N... Also HO and 1:1

Yup, time to get off my butt and start stockpiling gas, ice, water, and decaling projects, most recent models are off to the east though, maybe we come out o.k.....

Had the guys over.  Got some more wiring done, and got cork laid for the upper staging yard.  Unfortunately, nothing really photo-worthy.

Yeah, looks like Irene will be blowing the coconuts all over South Florida.

That storm, depending on its track, might also affect the Bedford, PA N Scale Weekend coming this Friday through Sunday.  Even if it stays east of the Alleghenies it might affect those traveling from DC, Baltimore, Philadelphia, etc.  So anyone planning on attending might want to keep an eye on it
