Same here. Seems ok on the IPhone, but on the laptop, no luck. :(

It's the cookies.

If I drop my privacy to "Accept All", I stay logged in.  If I then move the privacy back to 'medium' I can't log out.  :)  The cookies may be trying to write too much information, or at least information that IE deems 'not secure'.

If you want to just log in forever, try dropping the security and loggin in, then just put the security back to 'default' (assuming that's where it was before).

I dropped my cookies , I made a new desktop shortcut . What I find odd is I get a pop-up option on Atlas to remember my password after clearing the password cookies and logging on again , but I don't get that with this new/old Railwire .

it's not the cookies on my browser...it is the site's cookie length

Well that got me to stay logged in , but I couldn't post or logout . I was getting : your session has timed out message in a loose wrist pink box , I had to reset to accept all so I could log out and in to post this . Something is not as it was .

I'm down to just having to log in once and everything works.  I can live with that.  No more repeat log in on everything.

just for pure fun, while logged in on IE8 (I also used Firefox5, Chrome, and refuse to use IE9 due to the still present bugs) due to the fact that IE is the most common browser, I opened a new window, came to the site, and was not logged in on that window, while still not logged in here....this is a cookie session issue, not a browser issue.

How does that work with the Privacy settings?

With the Privacy policy set to "Accept All" everything seems to work.

With the policy set to "Low", the cookie is is 'restricted'.

With the policy set to "Medium", the cookie is 'blocked'.

Jason, it has nothing to do with your computer, it is a php or asp scripting issue in the software. I can really go into scripting a cookie, but I am sure that I would bore you more than your aunt Gertrude would with her 500 image slide show of the cheese museum's chedder room....andthe spell check does not work

No, actually I asked because I'd like to know.

I can get the cookie if I turn off the Privacy settings.  So what is going that's making IE want to block it otherwise?

If you turn off the cookies settings on your browser, you will not be able to log into a site that requires cookies. By upping the security level, it "should" help block threats to your computer, but in reality only makes browsing more difficult

Since you are still up and know something about this, please look at this thread and see what you think.

That link opened up what looked like a preview screen for me to the new hosting. it toasted my cookies, and I had to clear them. The cookies are controlled by the php script, check this out
