Nope... not only do I not have any Google accounts, I block their cookies, too. googleusercontent.com doesn't seem to set any cookies, however.

Now HERE is something interesting... I can see it in Firefox (44.0.2), which I have locked down with privacy extensions. However, in Safari 9.1.1, which I keep "clean" for sites that don't like my blockers, I get a "no image" bar. This is entirely backwards from what I would have expected to happen.

EDIT: Now it's there, after using the direct image URL to pull it up first. I don't know if it was "fixed" before I tried the direct link, or if my using the direct link fixed it for in-stream by storing it in local cache. Bottom line, IMO? Don't depend on Google as an image repository.

Usually I can see photos posted from google images initially on my laptop (using firefox) but am unable to see them later.

Back online now.  I signed off Google and rebooted the laptop, and now I can't see it either.  So I have no idea how Mike was able to see it.

[edit - just tried a new url: right click on the image and copy address.  I have a sinking feeling that these addresses are not static, but I'm not sure yet.]

Neither do I. Very strange. I'm at the layout building now and on the Everywhere West OSX server using Firefox 35.0 (with blockers), and now I can't see it. Hang on while I try something...

...I'm back. I opened another browser window, nav'ed to the thread, and waddayaknow, there it is.

Thanks again Mike.  Since changing the url (at 11:00 PM EDT) I can now see under all login/logout configurations I have tried.  I'm curious to see if that is still true a little while later.  (At least it's not a very interesting image...)
