I want to bug you a little bit here, but when are you making more of the flat cars and what not for the circus train? its great just need more though!

Also, how many people do you need to petition you into making an American Freedom Train?

RBBB Flats - Red train or Blue train? Blue Train flats are still in stock the last time I ordered more for our store, may be gone by now. Red Train is done for now, at least until they have replicated most of it in Blue train form. I did a little begging with our rep at MTL and got some silver trucks to paint my own Red train flats. I picked up a lot of 6 used flats on Ebay for $50 to repaint.

American Freedom Train - They are doing it, but not for themselves unfortunately....

I can't imagine what this is going to cost to put a complete train together.

I dont need really any more flats, just need more of the train right now. I am not creative enough to make my own.

The AFT would be neat but good lord. that price is beyond nuts. Come on Joe, let me know how much demand that needs to be created to spur the creation of the AFT.

Honestly haven't spent much time looking at that, but will forward the request to the car picker (I'm the nose picker)  to look into it.  I know from time to time we have had requests from guys wanting to do special runs of those cars, but I haven't seen anything come to light.

We also have more flats on the way.

]Thanks

Joe

Any clues on road names for the observation cars!  Will we see any new CB&Q heavyweights?

For the most part we will start with the road names we already did so folks will have a full consist.  Yes on the CB&Q...  We also have a new body style underway and another in development.

Joe that is great news!  Anything released in Q I will buy.  Not to mention all of the other roadnames I have already purchased.  My one train of heavyweight cars became an entire fleet of cars before I knew what happened!

I am glad to hear that the heavy weight cars have become a huge success. It needed to be done for a while now.

Also what are the chances of another engine being produced by MTL? The FT was a great unit, just kinda bad timing with IM announcing the exact same product.

Hey Joe!
I posted this in the booster car thread but you must have never read it.

Any chance of you, MTL, having any left over cases from the NSE booster cars that you could sell me? I could use 7 of them.
Thanks!!

Fess up, Joe... someone on N-scale Varnish is claiming that there's a MT ad in the August MR about coaches... (I suspect that they are speaking of the circus cars)

I'm the guy on N scale Varnish and it's a paired window B&O prototype, Pullman Standard Plan #2882-B!

Now, how about those TTG heavyweight Pullmans?

He needs to push more of those cars though... I have a perfectly good Mikado that needs some circus cars to drag around. The rest of my equipment is all wide bodies.

I am glad there are  manufacturers responding to the demand. It seems like the circus sets are selling well. They are not perfect, but, to be honest, reuse existing tooling, keep costs low. Most people seeing these trains at N track and what ever, really respond to them well.

By the way Joe...  I have been having some problems with some of the 3 axle trucks. Who do I need to contact? I contacted MTL a couple of times and no one has responded.
