Split the top into a couple prominent branches and add some curves and that can also be a Pitch Pine.

These trees do look nice.  One thing to add to the foreground trees would be the dead branches still on the trunk below the canopy.  I think that would really make them look like pine trees.

Kudzos,
DFF
Thanks for the kind words Dave, and you're spot on with your observation about the bare lower branches!
That's something I missed, even after scouring over pictures on the net.   :facepalm:
It would be easy enough to leave a few stragglers further down, and if any foliage got applied to them, they could easily be removed with your fingers.

I will keep this in mind when I make the next batch, thanks for bringing this to my attention!
I'm sure there are all kinds of adjustments that could be made to future batches.

"Kudzos"   :trollface: :lol:

I found my "Round-tuit" the other night and got some of the trees planted.

Where did you get those seeds?
A tree farm from Chernobyl, he had an instant sale over the weekend...

Holy crap!  Those trees grow faster than kudzu!  :scared:
Yeah, he mentioned something about an infestation of Kudzu at his farm?
But I didn't catch what he all said.

Seriously, Allen, your trees really do look nice.  That's really helping the scene capture the look of the prototype.

Soooo, since you have developed quite the green thumb, when are you going to come over and clean up your yard?

Thanks Dave!
When I get more planted I'll get some better photos, YT doesn't help much with the appearance.
What do you mean Dave?  It looks pretty green and healthy to me?

I got a few more tree planted in the Whitewater Creek scene today.
A few minutes later I heard the SB Winnfield local coming, so I grabbed the camera.

All right.  How about a critique?  Those little nubs on the track highlight that you haven’t installed the guardrails yet.  Sorry, that’s all I’ve got.   :)

I could stare at pics like that all day.  Seriously, jaw dropping, Allen.

@davefoxx & @Philip H
Thanks!

What little nubs are you talkin bout Dave?   ;)
The prototype actually doesn't have a guardrail.

Fantastic scene!  I can feel the humidity!  The Rock locos are really well done too.
