Saturday night's session went off with only one little hiccup.
Something on the Wheel Report didn't line up. We found several cars that were called for but didn't show on one of the reports that is used to block the locals in the yard. Not sure what happened or where to start looking. But I will find it.

Everything ran real good, no major mishaps and it lasted for about 2-1/2 hours.

We had one repeat visitor from K.C. and another one who hasn't been playing trains with us since 97'
Ran into Bill earlier this summer and he asked me if I was still playing Choo Choo? LOL I just grinned.

Now that the kitchen is done and this session is behind me, it is time to start in on the "To-Do" list for the layout.
First up is to get the new PSX Circuit breakers installed, then I'm going to start re-aligning some of the tracks. Hopefully this will improve the Ops and things will run better in a few locations.

Here are a few shots from the 12th session

Jon & Coy working DuBach

Doug working El Dorado yard

Quin working the Malvern job

As always there's more on the Blog.

Sounds like my links aren't working where I've posted these earlier tonight.
I think I've found a fix or work around by add " ?.jpg " to end of the file.

Are they showing now?

Get away from Google for photo storage.  They have adopted a strange way of formatting links that works only sometimes.

Either Flickr or Photobucket still work like always.  And they both raised their storage limits for free accounts.

And I'm really sad to say that about Google, they're usually my best way.  But not anymore with photos.

OK Jerry,
So what happens to all the photos I have on the Google Photos account?
Do I leave them?
Do I transfer all them over?
If I start using a new storage, I just start adding pics there and start linking from there.  I get that.
But what about the photos I already stored on Google?  Do i just leave them?
I wonder if they are still showing or not?
I have no desire to go back through all my threads on everything I've linked to and "re-link" them, do I?

What did you do?

Thanks Dan!
Yup, they all had a great time!

Tis weird with Google photos, The first batch that couldn't be seen I had uploaded to a new album.
When they didn't show I went back in and added "?.jpg"
When that didn't help I set the album to be shared.
Still wasn't working so I copied all 12 images to an older album and now they are working without adding the "?.jpg"

Has something to do with the new album me thinks?

I had a lot of photos on Google also.  I left them there, and they seem to be stable and viewable on the two sites I use.

Your photos are not visible to me after the try.

I went to Flickr - had a free account with them, and also Photobucket - why Flickr?  Dunno, just did.  Anyway, I uploaded to Flickr the five or six photos that were causing problems on Google, and have used Flickr since with no issues.

I would think the Google folks would have noted the problems and fixed them, but apparently they just don't care.  Too many irons in the fire.

Anyway, I think that covers it.  You should be OK with anything a couple months back on Google, no need to reload everything.  I have a large thread over on Trainboard and they seem to be alright - and if they weren't, nothing to be done since you can't edit at TB after about 15 minutes...

Good Luck!

I've posted photos recently from Google after the switch from Picasa and I have not experienced any issues.
Click on the thumbnail of the photo you want to post, so that it is enlarged.
Right click on view image info, Right click on the link provided, select copy link and paste it between the [img] tags provided by the Mona Lisa button when replying to a thread on TRW.

@wazzou

Thanks for the info.  It wasn't until just this last week that I started having issues with?
I tried to follow your instructions and after getting the photos to the enlarged image and right click on them, I'm not seeing the "view image option"  Also I'm not seeing the the link that is provided?

What I've done in the recent past was get the image enlarged and then right click on it and choose "copy image address" and I'd just paste that in the [img][img] and things were good.  But that's not working now.

I've even tried as chris333 has suggested by adding either the "?.jpg" "-tmp.jpg"  with no luck?
Then I thought it was because I added these recent photos to a new folder that was "Unshared" but I went back and tried that with no luck.

Then I moved those recent photos to my normal album that has worked before and still they didn't show?

I appreciate your help and suggestions Bryan.
I'll keep messing around with them or I'll do as Jerry and others have suggested and try another host?  Unless I'm not following your suggestions correctly?
