We got a chance to get our hands on FVM's wagontop box car samples yesterday and snapped some pictures. The whole gallery can be found HERE.

Enjoy!

These look really nice. The end detail on the brake rod and adjacent pipe (retainer?) look a little shallow, but I am sure the pros will address this if needed.
Can't wait for the Milwaukee cabooses.

Best wishes, Dave

I thought you just bought a house in Ohio, why would you want to have them sent to Santa Fe, NM?  ;D :P

Yeah, I tried to put up some decent size images (these are 2000+ pixels wide) if you click through to the gallery on that page. I'll keep pushing the sizes up when I can and not end up with a mess. Helicon sometimes adds some artifacts that are easier to eliminate with a 50% reduction of the image.

Ah, thanks Tony.  I didn't realize the pic wasn't being displayed at full size.

I have to wait for the second run, as the cars announced in the first batch are on either side of my 1950s era.

I wasn't counting them, I just wanted to see them!  ;)
