Detail Parts Wish List

At the moment, I can't get into the particulars on what some of my first products will be, but I can say that in a few months I'll be acquiring a spin caster with the intent of making, among other things, detail parts. Although lightly used, it's been sitting idle for about 20 years, so my first order of business will be rebuilding it to get it back into shape.

Meanwhile, I invite RW members to build a wishlist for detail items. Obviously I won't be able to make them all, but it will help to give me an idea which ones might be the most popular.

Don't remember what they are called but the signal boxes found on PRR, PC, Conrail units are tops on my list.

Low profile plows commonly used on Milw Road locomotives. I think they called them weed cutters. Also need Milw Road style spark arrestors. Both were made at one time by sunrise.

How about the vestibule steps for the Rivarossi/Lima/etc. heavyweight cars? I know that they are not up to MT standards, but I got a few that need steps and the Gold Medal Model fold up ones are kicking my butt!   ::)

Etched brake wheels a bit thicker than .010 thick in 2 common sizes for freight and ash pans .

Etched loads for freight cars .

Domes

Stacks

Number boards without the dividing lines which cause decals to dish .

Here is one that annoys me , loco air reservoir tank ends , semi-round and recessed semi-round . <<<<<< this , do this please !

"Domes

"Stacks"

I second the nomination.  Having domes and stacks that would provide for kitbashing a variety of the engines now represented in N-scale would be great.  Developing these items wouldn't be all that easy to do since they would have to be appropriately fitted to the various models before they could be made, but if there is a market for them (considering what I see some modelers doing, I believe that there is) these would be welcome overall!!!

Single heavyweight passenger car windows.
Model railroading isn't saving my life, but it's providing me moments of joy not normally associated with my current situation..... Train are good!

+1 for the Milw Road spark arrestors, winterizations hatches, marker lamps.
Mailboxs (to mail letters), fire hydrants and call boxes, street lamps and traffic signals.

SD45: I have some spare weed cutter plows. I made a major eBay purchase twice because I forgot the previous purchase. Send me a PM if interested.

Best wishes, Dave
If you lend someone $20, and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Everything blends.  Just a general rule of model railroading...
