But you have to go to the 3/2/1/O/S/TT/H0/000/Z/T/BBQ forum first to find the link

I know we discuss ad naseum the collector sets, but while at a local show this past weekend (I was hoping to find MT 12-1 sleepers), one of the module groups had a full Presidential train, and a States train.  So they must sell.

Hmmm, the IMCX car says build date Aug 70 ... wonder where these ran

EDIT: Found Paul Graf's pic of the very car MTL is doing - looks like the paint is way too new for my era:

International Minerals & Chemical Corp.

IMC is also known as Mosaic. The build date is 1970, but the scheme is much later. Those cars can be seen all over the US carrying  fertilizer or it's components. The pic looks pretty blurry, I guess the moderators get to put what they want on.  ;D

Some guy. I guess he's a graffiti artist that leaves his tag all over the place, and that's how he got to be known as Paul "Graf".

Most likely ran anywhere they made fertilizer.  I can say for sure that IMC two-bays ran on the CGW and CNW in Iowa.

I am in for the CSX grey Ortner. Would be nice if MT did a runners pack of this and the black one they did last year, maybe an FEC runners pack in the white crossbone also to add to the 8 numbers they have done so far, to go with the 24 FEC hoppers I renumber using the NSN decals.
Which ever side of the track I am on is the right side.

I had a feeling about that, that graphic screams 90s at the earliest. Sneaky, or wrong headed, of MT to promote the model as such. They really should have noted when that paint scheme came online (as they should all models). Then again, me has another feeling that they don't know exactly either.
Failing to prepare is preparing to fail.
