Preferred Photoetched Bending tool?

Hey Everyone,

I'm beginning to work more and more with photoetched parts for detailing locomotives (they are primarily small - grab irons, uncoupling levers, etc.) and I was wondering what the experts would recommend for a good bending tool?

I just bend over straight edges like a stainless ruler. Also use a set of flat jaw pliers.

Like Chris, to this point, I use my Stainless scale ruler and a single edge razor blade.

I just mainly use different size flat nose pliers the type that has no serrations in the jaws.

Sears hardware and most hardware stores carry them just pick through and find the pairs that close the tightest. I also take them and machine them to certain sizes for bending grabs and such.

I also have a bending tool similar to what David recommended they are defiantly worth having as well.

My favorite and most used bending tool. It's a Hand Seamer that I had a machinist run an End-Mill over the top of the jaws.

Off the Home Depot shelves, the jaws are at slightly different heights because of the castings. After milling the top of the jaws, they align perfectly.
