Did anyone read this from the Atlas Forum?

The March 2011 Model Railroader just arrived. On page 12 under N scale locomotives: Pennsylvania RR M1a & M1b 4-8-2 steam locomotives. From Broadway Limited. Finally???

I won't beleive it untill some one here actually has one in hands and posts pictures with a time stamp of some type.

I think it says something more like "order from your dealer!" :P

Is this for real? These were announced in 2005. Should be interesting.

I'll question the BLI guys in Springfield. Hopfully, they will have the same $99 sound equipped E8s this year.

Ah the good old custard test!

I.e. the item in question must be photographed with a tin of custard or similar household item mutally agreed between the proposing and questioning parties

Kind of makes me glad I haven't been able to find a copy of MR in this country.  Seeing that in print might could have started a week-long laughing fit.

Just looked at their out of date website.  Their calender still lists 2010 shows.  The cancellation list is from 2009.  The N Scale steam page says "Order from your dealer".  I thought dealers didn't sell Broadway stuff because of the undercutting on the N Scale diesels.

What a screwed up company.  Talk about making decisions that anger the customer.  These guys are the champs.

In defense, they make good E's and PA's.  I heard their HO offerings are pretty good too.
