I started Excel and made a few lists of things i want to do/see/buy at Springfield. This will be loaded onto my phone's to-do list. I'm also finishing off my freight car database. I have close to 1000 cars, so the chances of getting duplicate numbers is high.

You guys may remember this:

Proto drawings:
http://www.e-one.com/files/products/cad/Aerial_HP%2075_Quick%20Spec.pdf

It went through the paint shop this week and is now red and silver. It will become Boston Ladder 23, which is an older version of the engine. I'm not too concerned with it being true to prototype as the HP74 was redesigned in the mid 2000's and the newer version is too late for my era anyway. The engine does look like it would be at home in 1998, and as long as it says Boston on it, people won't care much. Photos soon.

Apprehensive influence swallow away
You seem to feel abysmal take it
Then you're careful grace for sure
Kinda like the way you're breathing
Kinda like the way you keep looking away

I don't have pics either, but I've managed to redo the peninsula where staging will be and have almost completed all benchwork. It's getting close to running wires and beginning sub-roadbed construction,

I worked up a track/block diagram for a MARRS member, who is planning to control his rather complicated mated pair of HO modules with a quartet of Atlas quad selectors:

I continued working on the Benchwork for Springfield. Got the old benchwork down and cleared the way for the new stuff. I changed over the temporary T12 fixtures to T8's for some nice bright even, no hum light. Subroad bed will hopefully be started today and worked on next week, with the backdrop to go up next week as well. Track has arrived for the mainline and I hope to start putting it down after the Springfield show.
I WANNA SEE THE BOAT MOVIE!

For this structure

That's sweet ! - Is that a kit or a scratchbuild ?

This is a Kit from AMB No 604 Transfer Building - http://www.laserkit.com/laserkit.htm

I'm using it for a lumber dealer

Man am I glad  that my wiring has progressed at a snails pace because I've learned so much about scenery in this forum with all the awesome work I've seen, these pictures look so real  :o. I'm just now obtaining scenery materials and hopefully will have pictures to share within a month. One problem that has slowed me down is buying rolling stock and locomotives constantly hence using up my hobby budget it is like addiction!

Quick 3-day weekend update...  Two of the three main trusses are now in place over the Delaware River; one to go:

More on my detailed thread over on the Detailing and Scratchbuilding forum.

Wow! Really great stuff this week!!!

I know it's Monday (late at that) but it is a 3 day weekend. That said, I just finished this scratchbuilt cantilever signal....

As viewed from coming down the hill. System operates off a Logic Rail Grade Crossing Pro, which also drives a Tortoise for the gate arms...

As viewed from accross the tracks. The signal on the left in the foreground is also scratchbuilt. The signals with gates are stock NJI...

Not many details to give. The track is all handlaid C40 & PC ties. The two turnouts are dummies. The loco has a capacitor in it and runs at 1.5volts. Here is the short vid I shot:
/>I have since oiled the motors.

Here is pics of the boxcabs:
