Damn Ian, you did alright! If I'm not mistaken, wouldn't CR 4133 be one of the SD70MAC's that were built to CSX spec's after the split was finalized and CR's final order, for 30 SD80MAC's, turned into SD70's for NS and SD70MAC's for CSX?

All I got RR was the calendar that I get from the GF every year. Non-RR, I got alot of colonge and a desk of chocolate bars. I have an order enroute that will make up for my poor showing... a gift from me to me as I have been a very good boy this year.

Oops, quick type! 4123. Yes 4133 would be a 80MAC that was changed to a 70MAC order.
I WANNA SEE THE BOAT MOVIE!

Yes... I'm in N... Also HO and 1:1

A single piece of paper. It says I'm entitled to a Kodachrome F45... one day. Seems my gratification is being delayed, on account of Athearn missing Santa's sleigh... Nice thought by the wife, though! :)

8 Wheels-O-Time baggage cars, CN,TP,Wabash,C.& N. W.,D.& R.G.W.,C&O ("Yay !"). The DVD Boxed set of the complete season of the Japanese Anime"East of Eden" ,a must see, from my anunt and gaget oriented uncle a ballpoint pen spy camera. Yes a just slightly pver size pen, that writes and has a built in micro color camera with sound that stores up to 3 minutes of video which can be uploaded to a computer, and a NCE Cab 06-R wireless radio throttle which has been on back order since September and should't count as a holiday gift. I should have ordered the NCE Pro Cab Radio unit and I would be usuing it at the next local train show. "Oh well !" Nate Goodman (Nato).

As far as train stuff, I got "Track Planning for Realistic Operation" by John Armstrong, and "Moonlight in Duneland: The Illustrated Story of the Chicago South Shore and South Bend Railroad".  I also have back issues of CTC Board and Pacific Rail News with articles about the Sacramento Northern's diesel years in Chico coming soon.

I lobbied for some Bachmann 70-tonners in green, several WP books, and all of Lance Mindheim's books.  Well, my birthday's less that two weeks off.

I live alone so a present for myself......

A ConCor S2 4-8-4 Northern in SF livery. which will get my own personal railline decals.

Believe it or not got it for way way way under 90 bucks, and is in mint condition.

@mcjaco:  That's a sweet looking rig.  Can we impress upon you and get a more full review (with pics of course) when you actually use it?

Santa came early this year - and he was dressed like Gary Hinshaw (who is traveling west to Vancouver to start his next modeling chapter).  Among the things Gary decided he didn't have room for were a number of N scale freight cars, an Athearn SD70, and a ton of good cheer.  I hope Gary and family have a blast driving cross country.

I also got the WARMEST camp slippers from REI (down filled) which will make modeling all that much more enjoyable.

Like FloridaBoy, it was from me to me.  A C&O H4 2-6-6-2.  Haven't tried  it out yet, but it's darn good-looking.

Train related: nothing. Most of what I want is still on pre-order status with Athearn (F7s, SW15, F45 [w/ tsunami], and GP15). Would have asked for some Tsunami decoders, but I wasn't sure what to put in the locos I want sound in (type, not prime mover)

Not train related: $110 (which I gave 20 each to my brother and sister), 2 each of pairs of shoes, shirts, and jackets. A Hurst Billet plus shifter, some storage bins, a model of a Model A, and a flashlight...
Vincent

If N scale had good SD40-2s, C30-7s, U30Cs, SD45s, SD40s, and SW10s; I'd be in N scale.

Ordinarily I'm not fond of this sort of paraphernalia, but in this case I've made an exception. It was totally unexpected (the best kind of gift) and remarkable as the giver only knows I "like trains." The clock is actually pretty cool: it's double-sided and also weatherproof, if one wished to mount it outside. I've installed it next to my office desk, and it suits the spot well. Goes perfectly with the porcelain "To the trains" sign on my door.
