Chuff-cam question

I am gearing up to install a Micro tsunami in my GS-4, I got a question though, I would really like to have a chuff-cam to make Syncing the whole thing a lot easier. Now I know you can get a kit that mounts to the inside of one of the drivers, and syncs up with the crank pin, but what I am wondering is could you use a good layer of conductive paint insted of the Disks in the kits? that would make the install 100% easier I think.

so what you think Asshats?
