NW-2 or TR-2

A TR-2 would seriously effect my narrow focus on Waterloo to include a second deck with Oelwein.

TR-2's couldn't come any other way.    But there were different phases.

The Kato NW-2 is missing the louvers on the hood that .  Which isn't a huge deal, but does stand out when there's lettering across the letterboard space between the louvers.  I have started one shell with the louvers added.  And based on that experience, I hope to do only one.

I'm surprised that no one has even given any thought to a S-2 yet. IIRC, that is the most requested loco here that I have seen.

That would be a far better choice than some of the rare birds suggested so far.  Still, I'm not getting my hopes up.

Erie called it's Berkshires the S class and the 2nd order was called an S-2

At the 07 nmra show in Detroit I was asked by the Kato rep, what would i like to see built. I immediately said SD38-2, non dynamic. I then learned what laughter sounds like in Japanese.
