Model railroading isn't saving my life, but it's providing me moments of joy not normally associated with my current situation..... Train are good!

Is it me or does it sound a little like Craig in the video??? BLMA SD40-2's anyone....  Just my guess....  ;D

Brian

My first thought was that was Craig's voice, and that's just the kind of video he would do...

He's also announced quite a line-up of freight cars too; he's probably about ready to make the jump to doing a locomotive...

Maybe a prelude to a Springfield announcement?

Man I hope this is legit and that it is possibly BLMA doing an SD40-2!!! that would probably be the best announcment of the decade!

Pud, SD40-2's got to Nelson, didn't they? That was the heart of the interior empire...

What -2 , by whom ? Crawling back under my phase only rock .

BL20-2
GP38-2
SD38-2
GP40-2
SD40-2
SD45-2
SD70M-2

Gotta admit "-2" covers a lot of territory...

Might have but in my era (73 ish) I still see mostly Trainmasters (last days) 40's (in T&G) and Geeps. 40-2's would have been Nelson bound but in small number until a bit later I think...still, ya just never know....

Atlas produces a number of -2 models, and IMR supposedly is going to do the whole SD40-2 series, so any of those seems unlikely. I can't see much excitement over a GP39-2 or and SD38-2, and likely it's not the EMD BL20-2 or the GE E60C-2, so I'm guessing some sort of commuter locomotive--whatever comes in a variety of roads and schemes.

If it's an SD70M-2 I'll be pissed.

I'll take:

NW-2 or TR-2

A TR-2 would seriously effect my narrow focus on Waterloo to include a second deck with Oelwein.

SD38-2

Pardon
me, but I would turn multiple cartwheels over that one as some LA Hauler spice.  If only...
