Can't help but wonder if Judge Roger's mind ever wanders to his outstanding layout while sitting a case . It happened to me when I was employed , how can it not happen on the bench during a boring moment ?
Mark - Those snow scenes - WOW!!!!! I'll second Gary - The best I've ever seen.Got sections hung and lit over the past two weeks.
Than you very for the kind compliments everyone. While I am happy with the scenes I don't think the snow scenes can touch Mike Danneman's work...The methods I am using are basically slight trial & error modifications of Mike's published processes. If there is any interest, I can explain the refinements, but they are only that.I hope to have a new video or two up on Youtube in a couple of weeks showing action on these newly completed sections.thxmd
The grocery store was scratch built a number of years ago. IIRC the barrel roof was carved from a block of balsa and covered with paint soaked Kleenex for a tar paper effect.
It was great meeting so may RW members all at once, starting with Lord Zox (thank you for putting me up--or is it putting up with me?), Bob, Tom, Ed, Gary, Dave Foxx, Russ (thanks for making me an honorary CRHS member--Ed's been twisting my arm to join, and I'm pretty sure he'll succeed), Tim, Carl, and now I've lost count--who did I miss? Well, technically I already met Lee...
Good meeting you finally, David. It was a good show.

I agree with the snow effect. Very nice. Lots of other goodies this week. Nothing from me but I'll have something for next week. Steve, what are you using for lighting the layout? Art
I also meant to post this on the Crew Lounge Timonium thread. Wound up here by mistake. Oh, well, so sue me.
