Weathering the Laurel Valley Hopper

I can't find a prototype photo online*, so how did these weather up?  Lee, maybe you can post a prototype of a heavily weathered car as an example?  Were they restenciled "CR"?  Any graf?

At the very least, it needs COTS, ACI, and a wheel inspection dot.  Those are on my "to-do" list when I finally get my LRV hopper.  

It's tempting to add a CR paint-out...  If the LRV was never merged into CR, that would be much less likely.  Lee, what was the corporate status of the LRV in 1980?

question:  should this car have 100 ton trucks and 36" wheels?

The prototype is a 70 ton car, isn't it?  I suspect 70 ton on 33" would be OK...

Well, here's an Atlas 90 T car that shows some wear and tear.  Note that car's stenciling was updated to the simplified scheme, while the old billboard lettering is fading under a barrage of rust and grime...

There's also a bit about the origins of the LRV concept, which was initially to represent a post PC spinoff short line in the mid-1970's.
