GHQ SP tender this Winter?

Hi all,
I've just received my order from GHQ and, opening the packet I've noted on top of the flyer that a 12,000 gallons SP Vanderbilt tender is planned for this winter.
For me it's a good news, as this item was never available in N scale.
What about a Whaleback also?

I see a couple future purchases there.
Can't model worth a darn, but can research like an SOB.

Does anyone else find it strange that the N-scale Vehicle market is so heavilly skewed towards the 1930's - 1950's ??

While at the same time - the loco/rolling stock market is slanted probably from the 1950's to the 2000's...

Not a knock at GHQ, who also do some great trucks and construction machines, just an observation and curiosity at why the modern scene is neglected and the period scene has at least some vehicles to choose from...

By the looks of the "coming" dates that might be a 2008 ad .

You should look up Willmodels. They do pretty much 1950+ and put a good dent in 60's-70's kits.

To bad, I really need a couple smaller Vandy tenders for a Spectrum 2-8-0 and a UP plow from the WP Museum

Yeah, he's good with the castings. Fixin' to put out a '69 F100 soon too, from what I hear. For the contemporary modelers, he's got an Int'l Durastar that is downright hot.
Failing to prepare is preparing to fail.
