Maybe so. But I've seen multiple pics of G31 class gons in Conrail livery riding on f/b trucks.
They could have been roller bearing axles in the original truck.

The trucks definitely rock. But if you're referring to the N Scale Kits F30/F30D flatcars, National C-1 trucks (currently used on the Atlas Hart ballast cars) are the most prototypically-correct truck frames currently available.

The pictures in the PC and CR color guides show plain bearing trucks, with all the lids intact... they could still be roller bearing conversions, but for modeling purposes, the plain bearing truck will do
