I'm new to this list and am a scratch builder. Some of you may have seen my work, others have not.
It's easier for me to list my flickr page than to try to up load all my stuff. At the top of page one are some of my cars and on page three. On page two are some photos of the diesels I did. Take a look if you have time.
Thanks, Tankcarsrule

Thanks Ed. I bought several sets years back, and had a few given to me. I understand they're not being produced at this time???

Thank you.
No problem. There's a nice article, with drawings, in the Feb. 2001 MR.

Beautiful detail work. Are those proto-87 wheels on the tankers?
Thanks for posting,
Gary

Gary, thank you very much. Yes, they are NWSL proto 87 wheels.
Mr K, when they started charging at MTW, I left.
Those tankers are outstanding, thank you for posting them. The problem with building tank cars is no plans. I lucked up and was loaned the plans for the three DUPX cars I did. I photographed and measured the two HPCX cars I did in brass. The two dome car's plans were in MRC, and as I stated the Bromine plans were in MR. I saw your comment about Jim's(BNSFHOBO) UTLX car, and hope you do one. I'm
glad you like my work, and I sure like yours.

This is making me really want to kick myself for not photographing the whales in Fayetteville. I saw them almost every time I railfanned in town until they were retired, and never got a single shot. It was a case of seeing them so often that I ignored them.

Yes jeff, I know Tim. It's said that Tim knows the name of the worker that made the weld on a certain tank car, and on which shift.
He's one smart dude. I met him at one of the Savannah RPM meets, very nice guy. I look forward to your tank car model!
Iain, There are some great whale photos on the RailWhale site. Tony Sissons has some great detail shots of the 297XX cars, and CELX six axle cars. Tony lives in NC.

FWIW, there is a special going on right now, join for $10/year, which is pretty nominal. Rich D. recently added several tutorial videos that are nicely done and well worth it IMHO.
