I see they have California Northern SD-9s.  I'm thrilled to see the SD-9s coming back, but the Cal. Northern SD is shown sans dynamic brake.  That must be an art department mistake, right?

I'd imagine it's an art department error.  They only had four all with DB, how hard would it be to screw that up?   :-X

Interesting that they did the 1 PRR Baldwin switcher which was painted tuscan.  Used in NY and NJ area.  The only other switcher painted tuscan was an SW1 used at the Pittsburgh passenger station.

I'm tempted by the WM 40' Dbl Door cars, have these been released previously (the car not the roadname)? It says "newly tooled" but it is a Trainman peice...but then we have the Magor's which are Trainman....

The S.

I think they "retooled" the single door into a double door a few yrs ago by adding the double door to the decades old single door tooling. So yes but mostly no - check the stirrups and the roof walks.

Yeah bingo, exactly my thoughts. I was tempted by the 40' PS-1's they had in WM but let them slide since they were the old tooling.

Given the backlog, what sense would it make to announce a ton of new things.

Have you looked at the original vs. revised dates on some of these products?

Why do you think they save the pdf in a way so that the artwork can be "taken"?

I'll get'em to say I got'em but damn that roofwalk is hideous. The stirrups and ladders are comparative to the Athearn 50' Dbl Door box.

I spoke with Cory last year about the Trainman retools. They are upgrading all the boxcars with new ends and sides. The only origonal tooling being recycled is the roofwalk, roof, interior and underframe. I understand the roof is from their stock cars to better match the prototype.

Very dry quarter.
