Atlas SPRING Catalog is up....

No sign of those coil cars!  In fact nothing really new at all.

Of interest, a third run of the modern gondolas and a re-run of SD7 and SD9, which I was actually hoping for...

I like the VOs and the Trainman Covered Hopper schemes. Finally a ROCK one. I know Brian's gonna be happy (especially at $7!).

Also, ooh, new #s for the 15-1s. That's a tough call. I'm actually surprised they didn't do the CR Quality scheme this go around. But I'm not complaining!

This is a massive relief to my wallet - I'm only in for one of the N&W boxcars ...

The low nose N&W units are basically useless for me.

The only other Atlas in the pipeline for me at the moment is the 20,700 tank (Atlas shows these shipped April 19) and the ex-P&WV 50 ton offsets which apparently are in a container at the moment.

Frees up cash for all the Bluford hoppers I just ordered. 8)

Three new body styles on the 1932 car!  Oh wait, I must be dreaming because that's not feasible for manufactures to do.  :P

I see they have California Northern SD-9s.  I'm thrilled to see the SD-9s coming back, but the Cal. Northern SD is shown sans dynamic brake.  That must be an art department mistake, right?

For heaven's sake could they stop putting horn-hook couplers on the artwork?!   That's just wrong and disturbing and too much of a shock to deal with this early in the morning.

I'm in for just about every scheme of the Thrall 4750's. The Rock Island and Peavey will be most welcome. Also in for the C&O and NC&StL Boxcars.

Central of Georgia SD9's are in the wrong scheme to be a hot seller. The need the Blue & Gray to sell a bunch. >:(

OOps and I forgot that we finally have an EJ&E loco in the VO1000's.

I'm tempted by the WM 40' Dbl Door cars, have these been released previously (the car not the roadname)? It says "newly tooled" but it is a Trainman peice...but then we have the Magor's which are Trainman....

If I were to think about back-dating, that red and black GP-30 would come in really handy.  Ofcourse, that woul dkeep me from getting another GEVO.

It's funny how much the KCS and CGW 30s look alike. It's almost like EMD had a pattern. Oh, wait... lol.

I think they "retooled" the single door into a double door a few yrs ago by adding the double door to the decades old single door tooling. So yes but mostly no - check the stirrups and the roof walks.
