Good thinking.  The big tank looking things over the grain unloader (the racks next to the elevator tower) are meant to represent grain bins.  this follows the example of the old National Brewery in Baltimore.  The bins are now gone, but there was a vacuum fed silo that straddled the track behind the building.

On further research, it appears that Kelly Springfield was a B&O customer...  Maybe I'll make that Pittsburgh Plate Glass...  Hmmm.

The main building at QCB was torn down decades ago.  What does he own, the remaining warehouses, or just a few bricks? ;D
The four story tower would house the grain elevator.  I'm sure you're familiar enough with the brewing process to know that the grain and water goes up to the top, then works its way down into the tanks, and then down from there to bottlery.  Gravity does most of the work...

SHE owns the facility right next to the former WM main along Wills Creek - i guess that was warehousing.  the brewery was torn down in 1975 i think.  actually, which one was torn down, there was the Cumberland Brewing Company and Queen City/German Brewing.

i am very familiar with the brewing process.  your tower is not wide enough.  double it's width and you have a winner.  your malt would have come in burlap sacks, the hops in barrels.

Here is the former Olympia Brewery about 5 miles from my house.  It was later owned by Pabst then Miller Brewing and shut down about 8 years ago over a waste water dispute.

There's obviously a degree of selective compression required.

This is what's left of the old Gunther Brewery in Baltimore.  It's about the scale I have in mind.

There's the newish Latrobe Brewing Co., sans the vast bottlery and warehouse, again, not a terribly large building. (but also not served by rail, duly noted).

and of course, our beloved Yuengling...

Remember, Queen City operated back in the day when local beer was brewed locally, before the mega factory brewers started mucking things up with their crappy watered down recipes.

It's my little Chief Architect 10.8.  They're out with XI, but I can't afford the upgrade just now... :-[

That's what I'm using to draw my windows for the roundhouse, too.
