This is the sight of the old Rainier Brewing Company in Seattle, WA.  Also gone 10 years or so...brewed by someone else.

He said Ale.  Unless you think they're the same thing.   ;)

Sheesh, some guys around here are fussier about their beer than they are about their models...

The Pale Ale model should be a fair skinned brunette, David.  C'mon.  Use your head!... Oh wait, the cat's doing that... ;D

Actually, the way things tend to roll for me, this would be the most likely CAN didate...

Actually, I thought it might be fun to do a series of different models. Y'know, Lee's Harem: Collect 'em all!

To be more authentic, though, you should use my great-great grandfather's name... Jacob (pronounced Yah-cob) Fink!

You'll have to put Sizemore on the case to round up some more babes...  I no longer have the password necessary for that kind of research... ;)

Looks great Lee! And I think the scale's right. Here's the brewery in West Bend WI http://www.bing.com/maps/?v=2&cp=r744wv7nj4nw&scene=8486377&lvl=2&sty=b&rtp=pos.43.40691_-88.181065_West%20Bend%2C%20WI___e_~pos.43.40691067278385_-88.18114846944809_West%20Bend%2C%20WI___e_&mode=D&rtop=0~0~0~

The path right behind it is the old C&NW ROW, so it looks like the brewery may have gotten coal via rail.

And on the other side of the river, where they're building condos, is the old West Bend Aluminum plant, where my grandfather was a machinist for 40+ years. West Bend Aluminum also made West Bend appliances.

BTW, here's the window set I was telling you about - http://www.ngineering.com/Indust.jpg

I like the window set...  I need to get something like that done for the Cumberland Station model.... the brick archways are a very nice touch.

That's a wicked cool looking brewery, eja.  I like the southwestern flare with the arches on the ground floor.
