It never fails, I renumber my CSX painted YN3 80macs to make room for the new ACE and now they announce a new run. What next YN3 70macs, ;D

My advice to you Sundownr. Plan on repainting your 70MACS but pout it off for awhile. Kato will do them sooner or later. I hope sooner for your sake.

I did them the same time I did the 80macs. But there is always room for more.

Same here, CSX only has 20 ACEs and 12 80MACs, but I am not complaining. thye have plenty of AC Gevos thought.

The CP AC4400's in the 8500's have steerable trucks.  I wonder if this release will include those?  The drawings of the CSX GEVO in their ads show steerables, so maybe it's on their radar.

re: steerables - interesting point....

re: CSX, NS...   I've picked up mostly CSX stuff lately...   No question it has become a very viable modern option....

I would imagine the CP AC4400's will be coming with steerable trucks since they are clearly doing steerable trucks on their CP ES44AC.

True, but I'll tell you this. I've got one of the first run NS units, and it IS the smoothest and quietest loco EVER.

Don't know why, but it just glides and pulls with DC or DCC................and it don't look too bad either.
A "western modeler" that also runs NS.
