They have both listed on the page.

Damn, scooped!

Not bad looking cars. Too modern for me, but nice.

Just dug up this thread on the Atlas HO forum that kinda tells the tale.
http://forum.atlasrr.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=57765

I'll still probably buy an NOKL and maybe a CSX just for variety.  It's not like I currently have ANY gons that are really correct (exceptions being probably the last two Atlas releases and maybe LBF got lucky on one scheme or two?) at this point so I guess I shouldn't let that stop me now.

I'm in for the TTX, CSXT and NOKL's....   Only problem - their site shows most of them already sold out. I sure hope they made more than 25 of each!

Yep, after all the 'experts'  there hemed and hawed - it is the 3564.  ExactRail should have been clearer on their announcement. Trinity bought Thrall designs, changed grabs, brake rigging type details. Most of us will not notice the grab design, other than that they are there. If it is like the other Exactrail releases it will be beautifully detailed and decorated - and sell well. The schemes may be from the Thrall built and/or Trinity built cars - they are so close...Few models are perfect matches.

So its the Thrall 3564cf (or very close)

I ordered all the CSXT, GNTX and NOKL with the intent of stripping 1 or 2 or each anyway.

I guess its time to research the Thrall 3564cf for appropriate paint schemes.

Tim Frederick has forgotten more about freight cars than you, me and anybody else on this forum will ever know... he truly is an 'expert', and a great guy to work with, and supplied a lot of useful information in that thread.

Ditto...that thread was informative and I have been on tankcarhomepage.railfan.net in my quest for knowledge of prototypes numerous times (bookmarked sometime ago)

Anybody get one of these yet?

Any clue how Exactrail decides what gets metal wheels or not?  I thought maybe they would become standard after the 4000's but the gon has plastic wheels.  They don't appear to have a "Signature/Platinum/Evolution" series in N like the do in HO.

There add on the new NSR shows metal wheels.

EXR can go suck the big one with their production/release strategy. We have a few coming but they maybe about the last EXR we order.

Was wondering what was up with the wheels too. Bought some of the gons at the WGH show in Denver last weekend, they had plastic wheel sets. The Thralls in BNSF were gone as fast as they hit the table.  ???
