These are the ramps that I remember from the 1970s. Who else remembers when this was a big deal?

Best wishes, Dave

In the grand tradition of MRR humor, who couldn't resist having one sitting off to the side with EK flying through the air, using it as his ramp? I think Train Cat ought to just include that as a detail part!

I would have to include a plate of bacon on the landing ramp for EK too!

Well, I got the drawings and a request from Wilson for built-ups to use in marketing!! The Z guys will luck out too as they will be sending me drawing for all of their products to produce in both N and Z where Z could be used for architectual models for prospective customers.  ;D

For the first time I actually with the form had one of the annoying icons jumping up and down

I'm jumping up and down now, but I'm not an annoying icon!...  Well, I'm not an icon, anyway...

Great news!

Will you still look into fudging together one that's more 60's appropriate?

Bob, That's GREAT news!  Having a client already lined up (and I would assume they want several copies of each) has to make bringing it to market easier.  Looking forward to this one!

What he said. And could we also get them in HO. I figure the 60's one would still be around in my 1975-85 timeframe, but the newer style might be around.

If N scale had good SD40-2s, C30-7s, U30Cs, SD45s, SD40s, and SW10s; I'd be in N scale.

Here's a nice little loader someone (sorry, I don't remember their name)  built for the Greenlight contest last year:

Just some ideas for anyone who still wants to scratchbuild one.  Bob's will no doubt be sweet though.

If it's decent (and I've got little doubt it will be) I'm down for at least 2, possibly 4.  Maybe I can get a replacement for that defective bridge sheet from a year ago too... *nudge-nudge*

A 89' COFC deck could be a starting point for those wishing other types and enjoy scratch plastic .

This was posted on an NC Rails group today. Older than the ones discussed here, but I though someone may could use the view.

That pic is neat. Good 1st generation solution.

You will not have to wait long for the Wilson ramp. Going to metal within a week.
