I really want to produce it.

And
I really want to buy at least three, maybe five if they are truly front edge qualified...

Anyone provide the height from railhead to the top car level on the MTL?

I don't own an MTL.   :-X

Got a reply from Wilson, I have a contact to call tomorrow see if they will give me basic drawings.

The Auto Ramp and the Conveyors. I like that Barge Loader to go with my Barges and Towboat.  ;D

That should work...it looks pretty "non-denominational" era-wise... Thanks, Richie!

I'll partially agree with that sentement. The Wilson is Hydraulic, the old one could be chain, sprocket, gear driven or hydraulic.

I'm pretty sure Walthers made them in HO, don't know about N. I'd buy a few in HO if they matched up with the accurail ones. (waiting for partially enclosed)
Vincent

If N scale had good SD40-2s, C30-7s, U30Cs, SD45s, SD40s, and SW10s; I'd be in N scale.

These are the ramps that I remember from the 1970s. Who else remembers when this was a big deal?

Best wishes, Dave

Bob(Traincat), I have one of the kits from Mocalvia Works that I haven't gotten around to building yet. If you would like me to send it to you to for ideas and to check dimensions, I can. Just send me a PM.

Better modeling through networking!  I love it!

Do you still need that dimension, Bob?  I'll run up and get it right now...

The Micro Trains open racks measure out as follows:
top deck of the tri-level sits at 15'8" above the rail head, or 1-3/16" actual
top deck of the bi-level sits at 12'4" or 15/16"
These are riding on 33" MT low pro wheels with unmodified trucks and bolsters.

Thanks Lee, I wanted to make sure the loader would reach and look right.

NYC is very hot. The cab is finished. I am using spare real estate on a new sheet to work out a easy solution to that tiny damn bay window. I really need to make sure it is easy to construct. More on that very soon.
