Saw that over on Atlas, hoped you'd post it here for me to lavish on some more praise.

Looks really nice. Everyone knows that 15-1s belong in Blue, but it still looks good :-)

I wish Mark4Design would do the CSXT GP30 and GP35 Slug hoods...

And don't tell me it's easy to file down an Atlas hood, it's not!   :)

the long hood looks wide - it that an illusion because i'm used to seeing it in blue?

Well Robbman designed it and usually both he and Mark only produce something very close or exactly at prototypical width. The picture was taken with a macro lens. hmmmm........ jolly Conrail Queen :P

I suggest you run now as the Marines are on your scent! ;D

Actually, the hood conversions M4D does for Kato units are "fat" by necessity, since the underlying Kato mech is "fat".  :D

Nice looking loco BTW. 8)

can we get a close up of the rear platform? It looks like the hood almost touches the handrails.
There's a shyness found in reason
Apprehensive influence swallow away
You seem to feel abysmal take it
Then you're careful grace for sure
Kinda like the way you're breathing
Kinda like the way you keep looking away
