I know nothing about these modern things, but that close-up of the hand rail... The stanchion doesn't look like it is touching the orange behind it. I bet that little hook that looks to go into a hole on the shell is the problem. Either the hole isn't there or it is filled with paint. Or you could just nip the hook off and I bet the rail would sit flat to the shell.

My two pennies.

Actually I think the stanchion is to thick, or the panel is not recessed enough. I'd try with all my might to thin the stanchion from the nib up, or channel the panel for the stanchion/railing but then you run the risk of ruining the paint doing the latter. I'd also try to fix that crevice between the 90* corner of the AC panel and vertical walkway of the sill with double sided scrapbooking tape. Such a nice model to be ruined by those thick handrails.

Pictures of the BNSF look great , but I can't wait to get my Iowa Interstates!!!!

All in all it looks like Matt has done an outstanding job for his first loco. Maybe he will move into the "-2" market. Somebody does soon!!

A shot of Matt's current samples. A number of these are getting changes for production, but you get an idea.

The yellow BNSF letters look "off" to me, but I would like to see one live.

Why can't Kato get ad copy like that?   ;)

Because they don't feel that they have to.

This might be a dumb question but are those conspicious stripes on the top of the locos.  If so, why?

Looks like the color inside the BNSF logo on the rear might be the wrong color.  Can't quite tell from the pictures though.  The Ferromex units look very cool.  I'll take all three!

Both videos are nicely done. The lighting is quite realistic.  The locos are very smooth running too.

I guess I have firmly moved to the 19th century because long strings of identical hopper cars doesn't excite like it used to.  Sigh.....

That might be the coolest model train video I have ever seen. Looks like the real thing. Great work, Lashedup.

There's a shyness found in reason
Apprehensive influence swallow away
You seem to feel abysmal take it
Then you're careful grace for sure
Kinda like the way you're breathing
Kinda like the way you keep looking away
