So how does the Family Lines car fit in with the rest of the steam era cars?  ;)

Agreed, but calling you a dork was sounded slightly more offensive!  :P

Agreed.  They're looking MUCH better.  The only thing that makes me cringe a little is when the graffiti covers the car number or reporting mark.  I'm not a student of modern railroading, but must of the heavily tagged cars I see either have the reporting marks still showing or the owner has patched them back over the tag.  Just a thought.

Initally the push back was releasing the same car with the same numbers twice...that came from "runners" and not the collector community.  And I agree somewhat.  But we are moving away from that and I think in the future that won't be happening quite as much.  Understand this is new for us so we have to weave our way through the political minefield most every thing we do engenders.  Also the pizza cutters will go the way of Pennsylvania Railroad first quarter next year.  ;D
in my civvies here.  I only represent my grandmothers home made Mac and Cheese on Railwire.

Well..........I guess weathering and graffiti do halp make a CN car look a little bit better...... not a lot better mind you but you have to consider the canvas...(signed: A Canadian Pacific fan) "snicker" 8)
Model railroading isn't saving my life, but it's providing me moments of joy not normally associated with my current situation..... Train are good!
