Yes, it was taken at Barker Hill, just north of Chenango Forks.

A trio of GP49-2s at Seward, Alaska with crew conducting a roll bye inspection of the Seward to Anchorage passenger train, circa 1995.

A C&NW GP-7R soldiers on at Butler Yard in Milwaukee, circa 1994. This was from a group of former Rock Island units purchased by C&NW in 1981.

A Wisconsin Central (ex-Soo Line) snow plow waits for winter on a siding near Nestoria, Michigan, circa 1995. This plow still rode on arch bar trucks.

Best wishes, Dave

If you lend someone $20, and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Never did find that SD-38 handing around last weekend.  Did catch this GP-40-2.  6453 (ex B&O 4438) with road slug 2205:

Here's the first 2 units:

This heavyduty flat was on the rear.  4 trucks.  It snuck by me and I only got this going away shot:

Now that, sir, is a GREAT way to dress up a caboose!  does she come with on all such outings - or were there inducements at play here?

We had some fun looking around in Shenandoah VA yesterday. There were three ex-N&W SD40-2s there.  8)
