Only ten road numbers in Canadian Pacific and they owned over 3500 such cars..........easy to see why we Canadian get model railroad inferiority complex's..... ;D

I'll be in for at least 20; ten "as is" and 10 "road number modification candidates......"

Very nice announcement indeed........................

I'll grab a few Script cars, but the multimarks and CP Rail non-multimarks are of more interest to me. TH&B and CN in the future?

Definitely will do CP Rail and TH&B down the road. The TH&B's have pretty fancy paint schemes for a hopper. :o

Regarding NKP and W&LE, Steve and I have discussed mixing some W&LE cars into the NKP multi-packs when we get to them. Any thoughts for or against?

If possible, a PRR H39 would be most welcome. ;D
Thanks

How close is this to your model?

Exactly the same.

Cool, starting to really like that you guys are doing these cars... but it'll be weird for a while seeing Bluford cars that aren't 86' long  ;)

This would work against for me, as I model N&W. While I saw these mostly in NKP I don't recall seeing any in W&LE. A solution may be to work W&LE into some of the multi-packs but not all. This might please the most people.

This is only a guess.

Personally I might only be in this for a pair though, possible three.

If we can break away from the East Coast and northern territories for a moment, the offset cars are a (dead on?) match for the CB&Q's 17000-series cars. Over 2,500 were built and they look sweet in Chinese red with the large 'Burlington' on them.
Failing to prepare is preparing to fail.

Craig, I don't want to be a party-pooper, but your description of the BN cars said they were inherited from the GN? From all the sources I can find, all of the GN 3-bay cars were 15 panel cars, not 14. Do you know something I don't?

Why yes Bryan, I do.  ;D
GN bought these 14-Panel cars second hand from DT&I in 1968. They were in GN's 70500 series.
