Looking forward to Eric's thoughts on if/how he's going to make changes to the current design or incorporate it into a larger layout. 

May choose to leave it as is and that's OK too!

I'm curious if the JD will be passing through Salt Lake on the way to California?

It did, a few hours ago. It’s currently in an undisclosed location in Nevada for the night. It will be in its new home in the Bay Area by tomorrow.

I don’t have any plans to make any changes. I might consider building something off the extension that once went to Enola, but before I do anything other than keep up what I have, I’ve got a house to move into.

I think he also has Lee's paper warehouse and power plant from the paper mill.

I’ve also got the freight depot, the Hard Hat, and a number of pieces of rolling stock from various sources. I had a big layout to fill, and I still have ambitions for another one. Failing that, I can always open a RailWire museum. :D

I can guess where it's at but I'll keep it secret too. Too bad you didn't come through tomorrow, I would've offered lunch or dinner to sneak a peak at the beauty.

Build a small extension and put all of the structures you've collected on it, and call it the Railwire Division.

It truly is a Transcontinental PRR layout, as it has resided in North Carolina, Nebraska, Florida, Colorado, and now made it to the West Coast and California!  :o

There is another monster layout in the works, but it's going to be awhile before I can start work on that.  If you're thinking of the Transcontinental PRR, that's nothing but a memory now.

It is indeed!  The JD is in the living room for the moment.  Once the appliance work is done, it will move to the kitchen.  After the carpets are replaced, it will move to a bedroom, which will be its home for the foreseeable future.
